The SVP – Regulatory Execution Manager is accountable for management of complex/critical/large professional disciplinary areas. Leads and directs a team of professionals. Requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within a function and how they interact in order to achieve the objectives of the function. Applies in-depth understanding of the business impact of technical contributions. Strong commercial awareness is a necessity. Generally accountable for delivery of a full range of services to one or more businesses/ geographic regions. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Some external communication may be necessary. Accountable for the end results of an area. Exercises control over resources, policy formulation and planning. Primarily affects a sub-function. Involved in short- to medium-term planning of actions and resources for own area. Full management responsibility of a team or multiple teams, including management of people, budget and planning, to include performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions and terminations and budget approval.
Responsibilities:


  • Will be responsible for leading global delivery under four strategic pillars for Wealth Technology - Issue Execution Management, Regulatory and Exam Management, Regulatory Commitments, Process Reviews.
  • Will be responsible for providing leadership oversight and execution for Regulatory Commitments Execution, Regulatory Exams Management and Regulatory Gaps Assessments for Wealth Technology globally.
  • Responsible for executing functional strategy for Wealth Technology Issues, Exam and Regulatory Management domain. Closely works with Wealth Tech seniors in implementing functional strategy.
  • Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Some external communication/negotiation may be necessary.
  • May hold functional or direct management responsibility including management of people, budget and planning, to include duties such as performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions and terminations and budget approval.
  • May be required to lead and be responsible for diverse (cross-discipline) activities.
  • Leads and directs a team of professionals.

  • Ensures the IT organization is defining and implementing its respective control plans to meet business strategy and goals.

  • Analyzes trends at an organizational level to improve processes;
    follows and analyzes industry trends.
  • Exhibits in-depth understanding of concepts and procedures within own area and basic knowledge of these elements in other areas.
  • Evaluates subordinates' performance and makes decisions on pay increases, promotions, terminations, etc.
  • Uses evaluative judgment in complicated or novel situations;
    uses multiple sources of information.
  • Impacts IT Quality through planning, finances/budget, end results and setting policies.
  • Manages a team that will partner with teams that do Defect Management, conduct sanity checks post deployment, defect QC and documentation.
  • Performs other duties and functions as assigned.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.


Qualifications:


  • 10+ years experience in various IT roles with commensurate experience in people management.
  • Requires in-depth understanding of underlying Technology processes, Project Management and Risk Management domains.
  • Requires thorough understanding of strategic direction of the function within the relevant part of the business, combined with a solid conceptual/practical grounding in both the function and/or area of expertise and related subject areas.
  • Requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within a function and how they interact in order to achieve the objectives of the function.
  • Requires in-depth understanding of how IT Quality integrates within overall technology and has commercial awareness.
  • Requires excellent communication skills to negotiate with others at a senior level;
    may communicate with external parties.
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel
  • Self-motivated and detail oriented
  • Proven influencing and relationship management skills

Education:


  • Bachelor’s/University degree or Master’s degree preferred
