Our client is a leading global law firm providing a comprehensive range of legal services. They have offices in key financial centers around the world, including London, New York, Sydney, and Hong Kong, among others.

Job Description

Treasury / Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable

• Manage and review payment requests and online banking applications.
  
• Prepare treasury reports, AP lists, and report bank balances to the treasury department.
  
• Upload AP to 3E, ensuring complete preparation and collation of documentation for fund transfers.
  
• Ensure compliance with firm policies and procedures for all processes.
  
• Oversee daily accounting functions, month-end closing, audits, annual returns, and other reporting requirements.
  

Tax Compliance / Audit

• Assist the operations manager in preparing corporate tax filings and employer tax filings with help from the Global Tax team and external tax advisors as needed.
  
• Ensure statutory compliance where necessary.
  
• Support the operations manager in reviewing the general ledger for local reporting.
  
• Assist in preparation work for local audits.
  

Others

• Assist with the implementation of internal finance policies as required.
  
• Liaise with internal stakeholders, including partners and other business services functions.
  
• Respond to internal inquiries and requests on financial matters and information.
  
• Prepare regular and ad-hoc analyses and reports.
  
• Handle ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed.
  

The Successful Applicant

• At least for years of experience in finance/accounting.
  
• Legal and/or professional services background is a plus.
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  
• CA/CPA/ACCA Certified is a plus.
