About the Accountant Role and its Responsibilities

Reporting to the CEO, the role will cover the following main responsibilities:

• Manage the full set of accounts, ensuring accuracy in tasks such as accruals, journal entries, payroll, inter-company reconciliations, preparation and payment of invoices, supporting annual audits and the preparation of financial statements.
  
• Provide support for fund related operations such as computing and reviewing Net Asset Value (“NAV”) calculations, recording and reconciliation of fund transactions and expenses.
  
• Assist with regulatory CMS entity reporting, inclusive of quarterly reporting, thematic surveys and questionnaires.
  
• Provide accounting/finance support to business units on ad hoc projects and matters as they arise.
  

Requirements &
Qualifications

Work Experience:

• 2 to 5 years of experience in the audit or regulatory industry focused on fund accounting/operations.
  
• The following will be beneficial but are not strictly mandatory:
  (a)Experience/Exposure to accounting treatment of digital assets;
  (b) Practical experience with tools such as etherscan and/or other digital asset related tools.

• Independent mindset, with the ability to show initiative and take charge of own work and responsibilities.
  
• Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  
• Detail-oriented, ability to manage stress effectively and meet various deadlines.
  
• Possess mental flexibility to cover and pivot between multiple and varied tasks.
  

Education

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent demonstrable practical experience.
  
• Possession of Chartered Accountant qualifications will be considered an advantage.
