Job Description:

We are seeking a Data Scientist to join our team and drive innovation in the smart manufacturing domain. In this role, you will:

• 
  
• Utilize Advanced Technologies:
  Implement machine learning, deep learning, statistics, and operational research to enhance and optimize manufacturing processes. Tasks include data exploration, model development, and algorithmic decision-making.
  
• Conduct Application-Driven Analysis:
  Apply data analysis techniques to improve industrial inspection, defect classification, predictive maintenance, intelligent tuning, and parameter optimization, directly enhancing operational efficiency and product quality.
  
• Create Intellectual Property:
  Develop innovative solutions and methodologies that contribute to Intellectual Property (IP) Rights in Singapore through ongoing R&
  D efforts.
  
• Foster Collaborative Networking:
  Build relationships with local universities and research institutions to promote collaboration, integrate resources, and initiate impactful projects.
  
• Communicate Technically:
  Prepare detailed technical reports and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align research findings with project outcomes.
  
• Integrate with Production Needs:
  Understand production requirements and challenges, integrating R&
  D insights to drive tangible outcomes and business success.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• 
  
• Research Publication Track Record:
  Experience publishing research papers in machine learning, deep learning, or data analysis, showcasing theoretical and practical expertise.
  
• Proficiency in Tools and Frameworks:
  Familiarity with machine learning and data analysis tools like Scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, and OpenCV.
  
• Understanding of Distributed Computing:
  Knowledge of distributed computing technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, and Hive for processing large-scale datasets.
  
• Bonus Experience:
  Additional experience in manufacturing practice, software development, digital twin simulation, and mechanism modeling is a plus.
  
• Relevant Experience:
  At least 1 year of experience in data science, machine learning, or related fields, demonstrating practical application of skills.
  
• Language Proficiency:
  Proficiency in English and Mandarin (both spoken and written) to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
  
• Educational Background:
  A minimum of a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
