Primary Role
To sell banquet packages to achieve forecasted food and beverage sales and to plan and co-ordinate the entire event to ensure service standards.
Responsibilities
- Respond to sales enquiries promptly to secure sales
- Retain existing customers and develop new sales opportunities for indoor and outdoor catering services
- Plan resource effectively with internal departments to deliver excellent service to customers
- Be present on the day of the event to establish good guest relations, ensure smooth execution and manage any feedback
- Ensure proper documentation of sales contracts and suggest improvements to sales procedures
- Achieve department sales target
- Assist with the renewal of all F&
B related licenses
Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
Requirements
- Min Diploma with at least 4 years of experience in a similar capacity
- Service oriented with a positive personality and comfortable with interacting with people of all levels
- Positive personality, team player, resourceful and meticulous
- Ability to multitask and adapt to challenges of a fast-paced environment
