NTU Innovation and Entrepreneurship (I&
E) aspires to translate NTU's inventions and creativity into tangible outcomes that will result in economic growth and enhanced quality of life for Singapore and beyond. We are looking for an Assistant Director, Marketing Communications to join the team.
The Assistant Director, Marketing Communications is responsible for:
Responsibilities:

  • Lead the media and marketing communications effort of NTU I&
    E.
  • Develop and implement communication strategy for engagement with internal and external stakeholders to promote a vibrant I&
    E ecosystem.
  • Develop and curate NTU I&
    E content for marketing or publications (including blog posts, web content, online newsletters, video content, etc), adhering to all the SEO practices.
  • Formulate and execute NTU I&
    E social content calendar, including organic and paid campaigns.
  • Liaise in close collaborations with NTU Corporate Communications Office to pitch interesting I&
    E story ideas to increase the profile of the NTU I&
    E on local and global scene.
  • Ensure brand consistency and content accuracy on all marketing platforms.
  • Day-to-day management of NTU I&
    E social media brand accounts and communities.
  • Track, monitor and assess the efficiency of online marketing and communications strategies.
  • Prepare campaign reports, metrices and performing indicators for media and social media engagement.
  • Support the wide NTU community by providing timely feedback on direction, mode, style and frequency of communications with the community to foster entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Any other ad-hoc initiatives and projects undertaken by the Office.


Requirements:

  • A Degree in Business, Marketing or Mass Communications.
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in both online and offline publicity and marketing, including the management of social media platforms.
  • A natural storyteller with excellent written and communication skills, with a flair for digital design and a passion for social media. Those with media pitching experience is a plus.
  • Creative with a good eye for aesthetics.
  • Proficient in basic photography, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Photoshop.
  • Strong analytical skills and data driven thinking.
  • Meticulous and possess good interpersonal skills.
  • A dynamic team player who is also a self-motivator.
  • Adaptable and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
