The School of Biological Sciences (SBS), part of the College of Science, was established in 2002 with a mission to advance biological and biomedical sciences. At SBS, our research spans various areas, including infectious diseases, immunology, neurodegenerative diseases, telomere biology, and genome function. Over the years, SBS has attracted talented individuals from around the world and Singapore to join as scientific leaders and researchers.

Job Description
As an integral part of our dynamic team, you will undertake the following responsibilities:

  • Communications about school's research achievements, awards, student &
    alumni features, and events.
  • Production of collaterals, online content, videos, and other publicity materials.
  • Creation and execution of marketing campaigns with a focus on social media.
  • Increasing engagement with students and alumni through events and initiatives.
  • Communication outreach to alumni and support for alumni activities.
  • Providing communication support for outreach and open house activities.
  • Supporting official events, conferences, seminars, MOU signings, visitors, etc.
  • Undertaking other duties as assigned.


Requirements
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

  • A bachelor's degree or higher in Communications, Marketing, or a relevant field
  • Proficiency in website design principles and content management systems, along with experience in leveraging social media platforms and other digital communication tools.
  • Strong graphic design skills, including proficiency in graphic design software
  • Demonstrated experience in marketing communications, particularly within academic institutions
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, taking initiative and making independent decisions as required.
