Key Responsibilities:

• Strategically plan and coordinate laboratory services and activities to support cutting-edge research and teaching endeavours.
• Manage laboratory facilities and specialized machinery, ensuring seamless operations to empower students and faculty to excel.
• Facilitate innovative research and teaching activities, driving excellence in geotechnical and transportation engineering.
• Ensure a safe and compliant laboratory environment, adhering to the highest safety standards.
• Provide expert administrative and technical support, including purchasing, financial control, and collaboration with senior leadership on critical matters such as safety, planning, and development.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Proficiency in account reporting, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and reliable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
• Hands-on experience in laboratory settings within research institutes or universities.
• Openness to acquiring new skill sets and embracing changes.
• Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels.
