This Role provides on-site &
off-site remote supportpertaining to Physical Security System
designs / setups / Testing &
Commissioning (Access Controls, Biometric systems, CCTV
systems, Mantrap systems, etc), for the Client’s offices in Asia-Pacific sites. This includes
supporting regional on-going synergies in Security Vendor Management, Maintenance Co-
ordination, execution of regional initiatives relating to Security Systems, and formulating /
enhancing Security Technical protocols for enhanced practices.
This position is an Asia Pacific role seated in the Singapore office.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Security Systems Support, Regional Projects
- To attend, plan, conduct &
execute the Security Systems design &
go-live for new offices/ sites, A&
A sites, ad-hoc retro fits. - To identify, analyse and troubleshoot with Security Integrators / Installers on Access Control Systems, CCTV Systems and other Security Systems, if any, during Testing &
Commissioning. - Provide Weekly Project Progress Report (Security System Installation) on each Project Site, to be briefed to the APAC Director of Security Systems &
Projects. - Liaise with Client’s Internal Stake Holders to gather required information from Technology Teams and Facilities Teams in each site prior to Security System Go-Live.
- To report to APAC Vice President of Security Technology and to APAC Director of Security Systems &
Projects, to ensure satisfaction of work.
Preventive Maintenance Support / Regional Vendor Management
- To plan, execute the scheduling of Periodic Preventive Maintenance (PPM) of Security Systems as per the standard checklist.
- To liaise with Client Stake Holders and Security Integrators on the co-ordinations and administrative requirements to execute the PPMs on target.
- To coordinate with Security Control Room team on system status after the PPM activity and ensure proper remote monitoring functionality.
- To cross check Security Integrator’s detailed report on PPM and follow up on any defects / snag lists.
- Review &
negotiate the existing Maintenance Contracts with incumbent APAC Security Integrators or with potential future Security Integrators. - Analyze &
Prepare Annual Budgetary for year-on-year Maintenance Contracts and Ad-Hoc support costings from Security Integrators.
Other Roles &
Responsibilities
- To respond timely and professionally to Emergency Call Outs in Local Office where you are based, during office hours and off office hours.
- To involve &
provide advisory to internal Dept silos and team members to establish best practices/ decisions. - To be able to act independently with a balanced decision-making.
- To provide professional advisory / brainstorm with regional peers on initiatives.
- To regularly conduct checks and maintain the on-site inventory for essential materials.
- Provide analysis on any services that may enhance the Clients Security Operational capability.
Qualifications/ Competencies/ Position Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience managing projects in Physical Security Systems, from Design to Surveys to Implementation with Security Integrators and finally Testing &
Commissioning. Including Administrative works as part of the overall Project Deliverables. - Must Have Excellent Technical Knowledge on Access Controls, CCTV, Biometric system and other physical security apparatus, including Field Knowledge on Maintenance of hardware. This will be tested on ground.
- Competent in Budgeting / Forecasting for Maintenance Contracts &
Negotiations. - Competent with Vendor Management &
Inter-Personal Relationship Skills among Peers. - Hands on experience in CCURE 9000 Software and Verint / Genetec / Axis.
- Excellent presentation, oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge &
Able to plot CAD / DWGs. Excellent problem-solving skills, technical trouble shooting and analytical thinking. - Motivated self-starter and ability to multitask.
- Able to travel on tight notices.
- Diploma or Above or Equivalent Certifications to Current Trade Skills.
Working Hours
- Normal hours of work will range from 09:
00 AM to 6:
00 PM Mondays to Fridays. - Expect to work during weekends / off peak hours due to green hours project execution / Testing &
Commissioning / breakfixes etc.
Contract Period
- 2 years with option to extend.
