Responsibilities:


Training


  • Work with PX Dept. &
    principal from time to time on new training needs for Company &
    Dealer Network.
  • Plan and schedule training for the whole of Aftersales and work with managers to fulfill Principals’ requirements.
  • Conduct training sessions for technicians &
    customer service advisor, for Company &
    its Dealer’s Network.
  • Develop the skills of technical staff through vigorous training and equip them with tools/equipment’s to enable them to perform their jobs more efficiently.
  • Conduct Training Gap Analysis to monitor individual performance and collate progress report on staff training, and update the respective managers accordingly.
  • Coordinate with respective Principal Training contact person and organize Company &
    Dealer personnels training overseas and onsite training by Principal.


Technical


  • Support service operation concerning daily technical issues with co-ordination from principal technical helpdesk to provide solutions technical /products issues.
  • Collate technical report for all Aftersales department for submission to Principals.
  • Manage &
    disseminate service &
    technical bulletins from franchise Principals for all departments, and update Sales and Aftersales.
  • Disseminate service campaign letters to customers and at times to LTA as required.
  • Communicate with LTA on the recall campaign where necessary.
  • Provide parts technical support in terms of clarifying differing specification / deviation from technical literature.
  • Update all technical literature on a regular basis.
  • Conduct on a monthly basis technical, training briefs to managers and technical executives.


Others


  • Support for setting up Principal’s User ID for all new and existing staff from Sales and Aftersales (both Company &
    Dealer Network).
  • Submission of enhanced simplified equipment registration for Principals’ to authority (IMDA).
  • Support PX &
    Service Manager in technical skill assessment for technician and technical personnel include High Voltage Repair Certification, WSH, ESH.
  • Liaise with Schools i.E. ITE for training, OJT, student development.
  • Other projects as assigned, i.E. tender technical support.


Requirements:


  • Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Automotive or its equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive/warranty process.
