Assistant Project Manager/Project Manager (Landscape)

Mao Sheng ventured out as a one-man operation in the early 1980s and established itself as Mao Sheng Quanji Construction Pte Ltd in 1988. Today, with 30 years in the landscape industry, we have an excellent team of Landscape Managers, Designers, Horticulturists, Arborists, Nursery Specialists, and Landscape Technicians to serve our client’s landscape needs.

We are now seeking candidates for the position of Assistant Project Manager/Project Manager.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee landscape projects which include landscape and horticultural construction, horticulture, arboriculture, and landscape maintenance.
  
• Attend site inspection, tender show round, and meeting.
  
• Responsible for bidding, estimating, and contract negotiations.
  
• Monitor, coordinate, and manage daily site activities.
  
• Plan and coordinate the procurement of resources to meet project requirements.
  
• Prepare work schedules, various reports, and records on work done on-site.
  
• Pre-empt and troubleshoot on-site problems.
  
• Perform tree inspection and risk assessment and prescribes remedies for tree health problems.
  
• Ensure safety regulations are implemented and complied with.
  
• Ensure accurate documentation of project costs.
  
• Close projects and submit timely and accurate billing paperwork for invoicing.
  
• Analyse project budget and actual costs and relate them for future estimates.
  
• Manage workforce.
  
• Resolve manpower-related challenges and conflicts on sites.
  
• Any other relevant duties.
  

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Horticulture or related fields
  
• Class 3 Driving License
  
• Min 2 years of relevant project coordination and management experience.
  
• Proficient in written and spoken English
  
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
  
• Candidates who are Certified Arborists have an added advantage.
