Job Responsibility

• Overall in charge of the QA function of the company
  
• Responsible for quality control of raw materials, in-process, finished products and packaging materials.
  
• Assist the Head of Production in setting quality standards and ensures that production is to the company’s specifications
  
• Establish and maintain effective QMS, including documentation, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  
• Inter-department support, communication and co-operation of quality related matters.
  
• The Manager (QA) takes charge of the Quality Assurance Task Force of the company to investigate product non-compliances and improve on the product quality.
  
• Oversee the maintenance &
  calibration of QA equipment and machinery.
  
• Evaluate records of monitoring or process operation parameters.
  
• Initiate material failure review requisition and follow-up on disposal decision.
  
• Review of any out-of-specification product parameter and authorize any fit for purpose.
  
• Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of product nonconformity.
  
• Identify and record any product quality problems.
  
• Ensure the workplace 5S, safety and security.
  
• Undertake other job functions as and when assigned from time to time.
  
  

QEHS Responsibility

• Implement and abide by requirements set out in the Company’s Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety Management System, ISO and OHSAS standards and applicable legal and other requirements.
  
  

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Science (preferably Chemistry) or Chemical Process Technology.
  
• Minimum of 5 years QA experience in chemical manufacturing industry.
  
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage deadlines.
  
• Experience in ISO 9001:
  2015 Process Audit, and well-versed with ISO 14001 management systems.
