Associate General Counsel - $9k to $14k (AWS + Bonus + Allowances)

Reporting to General Counsel / Head. Legal, Risk &
Compliance.

Office hours:
Monday to Friday (830am – 6pm)

Looking for someone admitted to bar from year 2009 - 2014

We are seeking for a skilled and experienced Legal Counsel to join our client dynamic organization. The ideal candidate will provide expert legal advice and support across a wide range of issues pertinent to our operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements while safeguarding the organization's interests.

Responsibilities:

• Providing timely legal advice and guidance on all legal issues.
  
• Interpretating and advising on agreements with project partners and sub-contractors;
  
  
• Identification and analysis of legal issues and risks, and developing strategies to mitigate these risks;
  
  
• Advisingsenior management and other departments on legal implications of business decisions
  
• Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts relating to the operation
  
• Event-related contracts such as hiring agreements, ticketing agreements, event promotion/collaboration agreements and commercial partnerships;
  
  
• Management of disputes and dispute resolution processes.
  
• Oversight of company policies, risk and compliance.
  
• Supervise and mentor team members;
  and
  
• Delegate tasks and oversee work to ensure quality and efficiency.
  
• Conducting or providing assistance during investigation, compliance audit / review.
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in a Singapore Law or other Common Law jurisdiction.
  
• 10+ years of experience practicing law, preferably with experience in fields covering corporate, construction, estate/venue management, sports &
  entertainment law
  
• In-house legal experience beneficial
  
• Prior experience in a leadership or managerial role is preferred
