Roles &
Responsibilities:
- Define specifications and scope of work for contractors involved in automation projects.
- Perform startup, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of automated machines.
- Responsible for creating Single Line Drawings and Control Schematic drawings, as well as programming PLC/HMI systems.
- Ensure projects are executed promptly and within specified timelines.
- Prepare and provide support to installation teams during project implementation.
- Willingness to travel and work on overseas projects as required.
Requirements:
- Hold an ITE or Diploma in Electronic/Electrical/Mechatronic Engineering.
- Possess a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant working experience in automation.
- Proficient in programming Siemens PLC and WinCC systems.
- Knowledgeable in the design of control panels.
- Familiarity with control schematics, motor controls, and materials take-off processes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Capable of handling multiple challenging tasks while maintaining high standards and meeting deadlines.
- Able to take ownership of assigned tasks and responsibilities.
This position requires a skilled Automation Engineer capable of overseeing projects from specification to commissioning, with proficiency in Siemens PLC programming and a strong background in electrical and electronic engineering.
