Group Technology and Operations (T&
O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality &
control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&
O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.


Responsibilities


Lead for the Regional Trade Finance projects, mainly on the areas of structure trade middle office and commodity financing:


  • Working with the regional stakeholders, lead and facilitate the discovery of requirements and improvements to user journeys
  • Design the trade finance monitoring dashboard and middle office workflow together with users
  • Identify and prioritize critical project deliverables and operationalization milestones
  • Develop project plans identifying schedules, specifications, risks and contingency plan
  • Work with technology team for the delivery and track/report progress
  • Operationalize the tools and streamline trade finance processes


Conduct review/ walkthrough sessions with stakeholders (e.G. Product GTS, Middle office, Operations, testers and Technology teams) for the following:


  • User stories
  • Functional specifications documents
  • Test plan and test cases
  • Roll-out and verification plan
  • Training materials
  • Prepare project status reports and facilitates both technical and non-technical meetings/design reviews in order to keep management and other stockholders informed of project status and other related project issues
  • Continuously gathers feedback from users and design improvements continuously
  • Participate in the pre-implementation preparation and post-implementation support exercises including end-user live verification during roll-out.


Requirements


  • More than 12 years of experience in Trade Finance middle office or processing, and some project management experience (waterfall or agile model).
  • Good knowledge in Trade Finance products and processes, experience in Commodities financing is required.
  • Good understanding of trade/commodities finance credit and compliance monitoring controls &
    requirements.
  • Good understanding of transaction risk/collateral valuation/monitoring throughout the life cycle of the deals.
  • Experience in requirements gathering, functional testing and conducting training to end-user.
  • Demonstrate ability to analyse complex requirements and translating them into user stories, test strategy and test cases
  • Positive mindset, can-do attitude, can work independently and collaborate well with the team to achieve outcome
  • Possess strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Demonstrates good work ethics and is able to adapt to changes and is able to deliver within tight timelines
  • Expert with Word, Excel, Microsoft Project, PowerPoint and others project tools
