Avp Senior Technology Architect

Our reputable client in Singapore is looking for Senior Technology Architect join their team in Singapore. The Technology Architect or Senior Technology Architect will be responsible for translating vision and strategy from senior management into action and delivery in close collaboration with business users and domain architects. Using strategic thinking and analytical approach, work closely with subject matter experts in gathering technology requirements, analyse and design and develop roadmaps and implementation plan based on current vs. future technology architecture. Evaluate technologies for both private and public clouds;
design and implement target cloud architecture model, roadmap, patterns, best practices, etc. Develop and deploy complex scalable production application on Cloud / PaaS / SaaS platforms and containers Develop on-premises infrastructure architecture for server, storage, network, and security. Conduct architecture Assessment of current and target states, align architecture solution with tactical and strategic objectives and to provide recommendations to close the gaps Define a comprehensive transition plan and delivery roadmap to deliver positive results to the business Be a trusted architect adviser to the management team and give direction / guidance to the teams in solution design and implementation. Knowledge of technology trends and provide thought leadership to the business Presents roadmaps and architecture landscapes to senior stakeholders. Ensure all architecture design adhere to enterprise architectural principles - reusability, modularity, loose coupling, ease of use and security with high quality application performance, availability, scalability, and integrity Perform quality review of infrastructure design and deliverables, leading work sessions and deliverable presentations with business stakeholders Manages architecture and technology governance committee agenda for solution approvals Create a digital working experience for Information Management staff and hold regular Technology Talks Engagements to share best of breed technologies in the market Lead discussions among domain architects, subject matter experts and business users. Provide recommendations on emerging technology to chief architect and senior management. Communicate effectively, both verbal and written to various level among stakeholders across the organization. Mitigate risk by following established procedures, spot key errors and demonstrate strong ethical behaviour. Mentoring and coaching technology architect resources Qualifications and Education Requirements · Minimum of 8 - 10 years of related experiences in IT industry · Bachelor's degree preferred or with equivalent experience · Prior experience in application or solution architecture is preferred · Experience in banking industry is preferred Preferred skills:
Minimum 8 - 10 years experience in application or solution architecture Experience in designing End User Computing (EUC);
experience with common enterprise services (Directory Services, VDI, Desktop as a Service. Professional experience in defining, designing, and developing scalable products and services, on multi-platform / hybrid clouds environments such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, Rackspace, VMware, or OpenStack. A strong understanding in IaaS, PaaS, SaaS. Experience in security architecture and infrastructure as code,/SRE and expertise in latest network technology – SD-WAN, SASE, SSE, IP networking, VPN's, DNS, load balancing, firewalls, proxy. Solid understanding of virtualization, cloud computing technologies, and best practises Experience in designing a complex infrastructure and Integration architecture covering Web server, Application server, DB server, Messaging software, ESB, SOA, J2EE and .Net Hands-on experience with infrastructure, platforms, and large-scale distributed systems architecture Professional experience in defining, designing, and developing scalable products and services, on multi-platform / hybrid clouds environments such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, Rackspace, VMware, or OpenStack. A strong understanding in IaaS, PaaS, SaaS. Strong expertise in security architecture Ability to understand organizational strategy and to design information systems to deliver business strategy Strong expertise in infrastructure as code, and SRE. Strong hands-on experience with mainline programming and scripting languages such as Shell, Python, Ruby, Perl, Java, .Net, or C++. Proven experiences architecting services integrations using API Management solution Professional experience in the virtualization domain and hands-on working experience with VMware vSphere, Nutanix, VSAN, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops and/or VMware Horizon Professional experience with Microsoft AD, MS Exchange, Exchange Online and/or Hyper-V. Advanced experience with MS Clustering, MS SQL High Availability is a plus. Demonstrated knowledge of x86 Servers and Blades, Storage &
Backup Infrastructure and datacenter networking is a must (Dell, HPE, etc.) Familiar with latest Virtualization trends and solutions available from vendors Strong expertise in latest network technology – SD-WAN, SASE, SSE, IP networking, VPN's, DNS, load balancing, firewalls, proxy, etc. Knowledge about TOGAF and practical implementation experience is preferred. Effective and adaptable communication skills suited to varying audiences. Deep understanding of controls in a Banking environment (e.G. MAS TRM, etc). Strong situational analysis, problem solving and decision-making abilities.
