Responsibilities

• Administers and monitors transactional collaterals for Commodity Structured Trade Finance.
• Responsible for transactional and operational integrity of the credit facility structure especially in areas of Settlement risk, Operational risk, and Performance risk.
• Work closely with Relationship Managers, Back offices and Credit Risk Managers as well as GTS Sales and Product to co-ordinate and leverage on the expertise of each stakeholder. STMO Account Officer-In-Charge interfaces regularly with Compliance and Legal entities.
• To deliver Structured Trade Finance services to clients in accordancewith established quality and service standards as well as within established Trade Guidelines and Policies.
• Perform Mark to Market valuation, monitor cash collateral requirements, follow up on top-ups when under-collateralised and ensure updates are accurately input into User Defined Manual Access excel files.
• Monitor Loan to Value ratio to ensure that it is not breached and conduct margin calls whenever necessary.
• Document relevant transactional details including collaterals accurately and promptly into ST Connect.
• Alert RM and Credit Risk of any potential risks which might endanger the underlying asset or identify the source of repayment in a timely manner.
• Assist to solicit new transactions within approved and available limits through daily contact with the clients and in relationship follow-up and marketing visits whenever possible and required.
• Work with stakeholders in project developments and change management as and when required by Head of STMO.
• Participate in User Hands On familiarisation for system enhancement and implementation.

Requirements

• Preferably a bachelor's degree in Banking and Finance or relevant
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Structured and Commodity Trade Middle Office and/or with a reputable Commodity Trading Company in Trade Finance/Operations.
• Knowledge on Storage Financing and Commodity Hedging will be an added advantage.
• Must be attentive to details with good analytical skills and the ability to understand the intrinsic transactional risks.
• Can cope with pressure and meet tight timeline.
• Collaborator with strong organisational and interactive skills.
• Knowledge of trade-based rules such as UCP600, ISBP745, URC525 and Incoterms 2020.
