Backend Software Engineer (Nodejs / Golang)

We are representing our IT Solutions provider client in looking for the following

Software BackEnd Engineer (NodeJS or Golang)

Responsibilities

• Nature of project:
  Smart Nation Infrastructure
  
• Actively contribute to technical discussions and solutioning sessions, collaborate with various development teams to enhance productivity.
  
• Demonstrate good coding and documentation practices, emphasizing code style, familiarity with basic design patterns and principles, and continuous project focus and optimization.
  
• Possess autonomy to steer the direction of the product.
  
• Opportunity to participate in creating developer tooling systems from inception to implementation.
  
• Acknowledge that problems can have multiple solutions, some of which may not be engineering-related;
  understand the importance of evaluating these solutions.
  

Requirements

• Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Golang, Java, Python, or C++.
  
• Familiarity with common Internet technologies, including backend, database, MQ, caching, microservice architectures, and/or cloud infrastructure.
  
• Candidates with experience in Node.Js or Golang are preferred.
  
• Exhibit excellent teamwork and communication skills;
  the ability to effectively convey technically complex ideas to non-technical audiences is advantageous.
  
• Openness to learning and taking ownership of full-stack responsibilities.
  
• Proficiency in frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, and JS/TS) as well as familiarity with any web framework (React, Angular, Vue).
  
• Experience in backend JavaScript (Node.Js)/TypeScript or other backend frameworks.
  
• Familiarity with automated testing.
  
• Experience with deploying cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  
• Proficiency in frontend technologies including HTML, CSS, and JS/TS, along with familiarity in any web framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.
  
• Proficiency in backend JavaScript (Node.Js)/TypeScript or other backend frameworks.
  
• Experience with automated testing methodologies.
  
• Experience with deploying cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  
• Possession of an ICT Assessment Certification for Solution Architect or Software Developer by NUS-ISS is highly desirable.
