Position Summary:


The Business Development Manager is to initiate, promote and develop business opportunities in the assigned region for the range of Company’s products, with special emphasis on growing the assigned industry business volume and achieving the sales and income targets set by the Company.




Key Responsibilities:


  • The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.
  • Think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business.
  • Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements;
    tracking individual contributors and their accomplishments.
  • Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners;
    discovering and exploring opportunities.
  • Prepare sales plans and secure orders for the Company's products, solutions and services, and to achieve the KPI (monthly/annually) as assigned by the company.
  • Plan and conduct technical seminars or solutions/product demonstration to prospective customers in a professional and high quality manner.
  • Identify and establish new customers as well as new business opportunities to ensure successful market penetration and development, with special emphasis on the project and end user market.
  • Not to be an order taker. Understand the needs of customers and provide solutions to customers.
  • Maintain a high level of cooperation and teamwork with the sales and customer service team.
  • Learn, update and consistently demonstrate the core competencies required for the job.
  • Follow the latest industry developments and stay up-to-date on corporate competitors
  • Undertake any other tasks as and when assigned by the company.


Job Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
  • At least 3 years’ of relevant experience.
  • Possess good communication skills.
  • Creative and innovative thinker with good business acumen.
  • Friendly disposition, proactive and a good team player.
