Cafe Chef

We are looking for excellent Cafe Chef for our latest Instagramble Cafe in Sembawang area.

The candidate will oversee the Cafe set up and be responsible for its All Day Dining concept. Offering an European-Asian cafe styled menu, the candidate should be able to design and create menu accordingly to the given concept..

With serving quality food as our main focus, we pledge to quality food to the guests. The candidates will also be tasked to oversee the whole cafe's operations. He/she is to work with the Marketing Department to market our brands.

Responsibility:

· Assist to oversee the recruitment, training and assessment of kitchen and service crew

· Producing self made quality and premium food

· Assist on creation of classic and innovative cafe menu based on specific concepts

· Responsible for achieving gross margin set.

· Schedule lean manpower management

· Work closely and efficiently with other departments to achieve company’s goals.

Requirements:

· Able to commit 5.5 / 6 days work week

· Knowledge of various European and Asian cuisines, techniques and modern trends

· Ability to produce seasonal menu

· Culinary education from recognised institutions preferred

· 3 years experience in related field

· Knowledge and good understanding of hygiene, health and safety practices and regulations (HACCP, H&
S regulations)

· Good experience in big scale on-site and off-site premium catering

· Ability to plan and execute strategies to achieve company’s objectives

· Have initiative, is hard working and able to lead the kitchens by him/herself
