Job Description


The Clinical Specialist will primarily be responsible for Team Training and Education Activities, Market Engagement and Branding Activities, as well as Pre and Post Sales Activities. He/She will primarily be organizing and administering educational programs for both internal and external stakeholders in their field of products, ensuring the transfer of knowledge within pre and post sales activities. He/She will also develop market engagement and branding activities which will expand the exposure of their field of products, enabling the proliferation of brand awareness in both internal and external stakeholders. In secondary tasks, the Clinical Specialist will support the Clinical Manager and the business in peripheral activities, covering tasks in key stakeholder management and commercial related activities.




1. Team Training &
Education Activities


  • Conduct and/or coordinate product related training and education programs for customers and internal stakeholders (e.G., field support and engineers)
  • Participate in clinical related education programs to continuously seek improvement in clinical knowledge and skills


2. Market Engagement &
Branding Activities


  • Plan and execute clinical centric events that would benefit the knowledge advancement for customers and internal stakeholders This includes the coordination and participation of product launch events, conferences, roadshows etc.
  • Prepare clinical related training materials and collateral that enable the above said activities to be run smoothly
  • Support the business with market intelligence through analysis of clinical related information. Such information can benefit the development of clinical strategy and proliferation in the market


3. Pre and Post Sales Activities


  • Coordinate, organize and conduct clinical related pre and post sales activities
  • Coordinate closely with internal field support as well as the customer to secure availability and resources to conduct presentations, refresher training, demonstrations, as part of pre sales activities
  • Similarly coordinate with internal field support and the customer to secure availability and resources to conduct post sales training and refresher training and part of post sales activities


4. Supporting Stakeholder Management and Commercial Activities


  • Support the Clinical Manager in managing external key stakeholders for the Business, and ensuring both engagement and performance of key stakeholders meet the Business requirement. Key stakeholders include vendors, customers, and Key Opinion Leaders (KOL)
  • Support internal commercial activities that are in line with the product related business plan. This includes rendering support towards front and middle office execution
  • Assist the Clinical Management lead in supporting the Agency and Product Search (APS) Unit tasks to qualify local market requirements, and to provide feedback on proposed products (for the local market)


5. Customer Experience Management


  • Provide a WOWsome experience to customers, ensuring quality customer service is rendered
  • Upkeep good customer experience through collation of customer feedback to identify opportunities and areas for improvement
  • Handle all customer complaints or queries;
    escalate unresolved issues to expediate resolution




Job Requirements


  • Min. Degree in Science, Biotechnology, Business Administration or Min. Diploma/Degree in Nursing or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of working experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, biotechnology, or equivalent field. Experienced as clinical educator will be an advantage.
  • Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply as well.
  • Proficient is Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
  • Possess excellent communication and presentation skills (spoken &
    written), assertive in expressing ideas or opinions
  • Have genuine interests in learning a wide range of products to attain comprehensive knowledge
  • Able to travel outstation or overseas when required
  • Possess own transport
