Commercial Executive-Ship Repairs (Changi)

Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate and realistic estimate for jobs as required in tender bids
• Source for suitable subcontractors for specialized jobs and complex work
• Prepare accurate an detailed invoicing to achieve fair and better contribution margins
• Liaise with Ship Repairs Manager and Project Supervisor on all quoted and additional jobs
• Assist Commercial Manager or his designate in with respect to discussion of invoices for completed projects with attending Owner Representatives
• Assess subcontractors' invoices, discuss with relevant parties and conclude bill settlement within target timeframe

Requirements:

• Degree / Diploma in Engineering or related field
• 2 - 5 years' relevant experience
• Good knowledge of marine and related industries
• Good estimating skills for repair jobs
• Good communication skills
• Good numerical acumen
• Ability to write well, especially in email correspondences
• Willing to work in Changi
