Job Scopes:


As a Commercial Manager, you will define, develop and execute in-market sales strategies, tactics and action plans for the market. The key focus of this individual would be to achieve annual revenue targets, grow new accounts, maintain existing accounts, and build strong customer relationships thereby meeting the objectives of the corporate office.




Job Responsibility:


Sales Strategy Development and Execution


  • Own and achieve/exceed annual sales targets within assigned markets and accounts.
  • Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our reach with potential B2B (Banking/Financial Institutions, Airlines, Travel Agents, etc) customer base for Plaza Premium Lounges, Aerotel, F&
    B outlets and other products and services offered by Plaza Premium Group.
  • Analyse and track partners' performance to identify business potentials and opportunities.
  • Seeking out new major clients and forming working relationships with the key customers in your market.
  • Effectively communicate PPG's value proposition through proposals and presentations.
  • Understand current competitive landscape for various PPG products.
  • Accurately forecasting future sales and market trends to adapt to shifts and direction of sales strategy in the marketplace to maximise company profit.


Sales Discipline


  • Accurately track and update of sales pipeline and revenue.
  • Disciplined approach to account management and tracking of sales calls.
  • Regular maintenance of client account information.
  • Adherence to all sales procedures and processes.
  • Maintain effective control of local sales budget and expenses.


Relationship Management


  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives to grow both current and new business.
  • Liaise with other internal departments to articulate clients’ needs accurately (e.G. operations, IT, legal, finance, marketing, etc.)


Other Responsibilities


  • Serving as a business representative at major industry events, conferences, trade shows, and expositions.
  • Any other duties as may be assigned by the Management from time to time.


Job Requirement:


  • Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or related discipline with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a sales discipline.
  • Demonstrate experience in a sales role, meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Understanding of the hospitality environment with a network in banking and credit card products will be a definite advantage.
  • Ability to take decisive actions, work under pressure with good prioritisation skills.
  • Strong listening, negotiation and presentation skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to present and influence others.
  • Strong ability in cross-team cooperation and project management.
  • Travel may be required.
