Salary range:
SGD$3,000 - $4,000




Reporting to Executive Director, this position will be responsible for creating and driving effective communication and community partnership strategies, and building strong relationships for the Charity.




The candidate should plan to meet the yearly fundraising targets to ensure the sustainability of K9Assistance’s programmes. These activities shall be aligned to achieve K9Assistance’s mission, vision, and strategic objectives.




The incumbent should be comfortable around Assistance Dogs.






Roles &
Responsibilities


TheCommunity Partnership &
Communications Executive isresponsible for the development of cohesive messages and the dissemination of information, both in presentations and in other communications to stakeholders, playing a key role in how stakeholders perceive the organisation. You will also be responsible for the organisation’s collaterals, website and social media channels.




Primary responsibilities:


  • The incumbent should be able to confidently make compelling public presentations to drive awareness of Assistance Dogs. These activities shall be aligned to achieve K9Assistance’s mission, vision, and strategic objectives.
  • Assist to develop clear, compelling and consistent messages and materials to stakeholders.
  • Plan, organise, coordinate and execute corporate events to promote awareness with our partners and potential clients.
  • Assist to develop and implement strategies to reach out and engage stakeholders.
  • Plan, write and edit content for communications and regular newsletter to update donors, volunteers and partners.
  • Manage website and social media activities, including creating and maintaining content to engage new and existing stakeholders.
  • Develop contents, design and layout for collaterals.
  • Prepare reports on a timely-basis and accurately collate information for Executive Director and the Board.
  • Organise and manage organisation's data and digital assets to ensure safe and secure storage of information.
  • Undertake any other ad-hoc projects assigned by the Executive Director or the Board.




Requirements


Technical Competencies:


  • Degree in Communication, Public Relations, Business or related field with minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong writing, proofreading, editing, layout and design skills.
  • Experience with social media, websites, creating audio and visual content and other digital tools.
  • Experience with events management (both online and in-person events).
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of current trends in digital/social media.




Core Competencies:


  • A confident communicator and presenter with good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to operate in team and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Able to multi-task, has excellent organisational, planning, project and time management skills.
  • At least 2 years of working experience preferably from a SME
