Job Overview




The SEA Compensation &
Benefits Center of Excellence (CoE) role will be responsible for developing and managing the compensation and benefits strategies at Chagee SEA across Southeast Asia. This role focuses on performance management, incentive plans, and long-term incentive plans, such as share options and share-out bonuses. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in compensation and benefits, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of incentive structures within the retail sector, particularly in the food and beverage industry.




Key Responsibilities


  • Compensation Strategy:
    Develop and implement comprehensive compensation strategies that align with Chagee SEA’s business goals and objectives.
  • Performance Management:
    Design and manage performance management systems to evaluate and enhance employee performance.
  • Incentive Plans:
    Develop and manage short-term and long-term incentive plans, including bonuses, share options, and other reward programs to motivate and retain employees.
  • Market Analysis:
    Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to ensure competitive compensation and benefits packages.
  • Policy Development:
    Develop and maintain compensation and benefits policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance across the organization.
  • Employee Communication:
    Communicate compensation and benefits programs to employees, ensuring they understand the value and structure of their rewards.
  • Reporting and Analytics:
    Monitor and analyze compensation and benefits metrics, preparing detailed reports and providing strategic recommendations to the SEA Human Resources Director.
  • Compliance:
    Ensure all compensation and benefits programs comply with local and international labor laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Vendor Management:
    Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to ensure effective delivery of compensation and benefits programs.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the compensation and benefits function.


Preferred Skills


  • Extensive experience in compensation and benefits management, particularly within the retail or food and beverage sector.
  • Strong analytical and strategic planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in using compensation analysis and HR software.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of incentive plans and performance management systems.
  • Knowledge of local and international labor laws and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
