Responsibilities:
As a Compliance Officer at Rhenus Singapore, you will be entrusted with a diverse array of responsibilities aimed at ensuring regulatory compliance and operational integrity throughout our logistics operations. Your key duties will include:
- Managing claims processing for Rhenus Logistics Asia Pacific (RLA&
O) and Rhenus Warehousing Solutions (RWS), fostering effective communication and coordination with claim coordinators, entities, insurance brokers, and insurance companies. - Conducting meticulous due diligence audits to assess compliance with the China Social Credit System (CSCS) and facilitating the issuance of necessary compliance documentation.
- Overseeing due diligence checks for RWS business partners, fostering transparency and trust within our network of collaborators.
- Assuming the role of Compliance Officer for RLA&
O Singapore, serving as a central point of contact for compliance-related matters and ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements. - Providing valuable support for supply chain security initiatives, encompassing the implementation of standards such as TAPA FSR, TSA, and GSR to safeguard our logistics operations.
- Assisting in the accurate reporting of dangerous goods, in strict adherence to IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) and International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) Code standards.
- Collaborating closely with stakeholders to review RWS contracts, ensuring contractual compliance and mitigating potential risks.
Requirements:
To thrive in this dynamic role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Proficiency in both written and oral communication in English and Mandarin, enabling effective interaction with diverse stakeholders, and liaising with counterparts in China.
- Certification in Dangerous Goods (DG) management, with a preference for qualifications in IATA, IMDG, or ADR. Alternatively, a commitment to obtaining relevant certifications within the first six months of employment.
- Certification in security management, ideally encompassing TAPA FSR &
TSR standards. Alternatively, a commitment to acquiring certifications within the initial six months of employment. - Substantial experience in the logistics industry, preferably with a background in operational roles, providing valuable insights into industry-specific compliance challenges and opportunities.
