Construction Site Project Engineer

Job Description

The Site Project engineer shall assist the Consultants on day to day operations.

I. Evaluate and monitor of project programme, work progress and cost.

II. Leading site supervisor/RTO in supervision and stie management work, including keeping proper and accurate record.

III. Manage contractor on the site works.

IV. Monitor performance of environmental control measures, earth control measures, site safety measures, housekeeping on site and initiate preventive/ corrective actions.

V. Establish quality management, safety and risk management, time management, cost planning and management system for the demolition activities.

VI. To identify the site problem and to liaise/coordinate with all Contractors, Consultants and HDB (including the chairing of regular meetings) to ensure timely resolution of all site problems.

VII. Conduct on-site joint verification of Contractor’s progress payment with the relevant consultants.

VIII. Inspect completed works and arrange with HDB and external parties on handing over of completed works, including but not limited to, collation of documents required for handing over.

IX. Assist in investigating and liaising with public and the relevant authorities for public feedback;

X. Ensure timely submission of reports, processing of progress claims, claims for Extension of Time and other submissions from the Contractor.

XI. Respond to all emergency matters, such as fire and accidents, at the site during or off working hours.
