Construction Supervisor

Duties and Responsibilities

· To assist the Project Manager or Project Engineer in the daily execution of work;

· Inspectingconstruction sites regularly to identify and eliminate potential safety hazards;

· Enforcing site safety rules to minimize work-related accidents and injuries;

· To supervise the work of sub-contractors and in-house workers;

· To work closely with other site operations staff to meet the project schedule;

· Ensure installation is carried out as per construction drawings;

· To monitorthe progress and quality of work being performed by workers;

· Ensure that works are executed within an acceptable standard of workmanship;

· Attend thedaily tool-box meeting and convey clear instruction accordingly;

· Understandand ensure compliance with project requirements and scope of work.

Summary of Qualifications

1. Vocational Certificate in any relevant technical discipline;

2. At least 3 years of working experience in the related field;

3. Proven experience working as a Supervisor;

4. Good knowledge of local building codes and construction safety regulations;

5. Working knowledge of construction tools and equipment;

6. Possessedof relevant safety certification (SCWSH / BCSS / CSOC / W@H / First Aid etc.) is desirable;

7. Highly proactive attitude, self-motivated, team player, problem-solving skills;

8. Excellentorganizational and communication skills;

9. May need to work on Sunday and public holiday.

10. Must be able to work night shift and split shift

11. Must be able to work extra hours or weekend if needed
