Credit Control Officer/ Executive

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely collection of outstanding debts by tracking overdue accounts receivable and monitor overdue accounts payable to make prompt settlements to clients
  
• Examine and resolve balance discrepancies with clients and liaise closely with internal and external parties to build and maintain good relationships
  
• Accurately update receipts/payments in the accounting system and prepare journal entries when required
  
• Sort out unallocated receipts by reviewing debtor ledgers, payment history, and liaising with relevant stakeholders
  
• Perform timely accounts reconciliation, follow procedures related to accounting/credit control activities, and support the superior for operational business when required
  

Requirements:

• Degree in any discipline with 2-3 years of experience
  
• Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel and Outlook)
  
• Meticulous, well organized, good time management, able to work independently
  
• Familiar with bookkeeping and accounting procedures is good to have
  
• Effective communication skills within the organization
