BRIEF DESCRIPTION


This position works with the reporting head in the department to execute service agreements at, or above the customers' standards. He or she is accountable to handle principal &
agency related shipments;
documentation preparation and to also work closely with the Sales Team to deliver excellent service to our customers.




JOB SCOPE


  • Timely completion of documentation flow to facilitate the import/export/cross trade shipments.
  • Issue shipment related documents (i.E Bill of Lading, invoices, pre-alert, etc).
  • Coordinate closely with internal offices / agencies &
    clients to deliver a seamless supply chain flow.
  • Equipment/inventory planning and fulfilment.
  • Provide quotations and sailing schedules as requested by a direct inquiry from customers.
  • Ensure timely monthly closing of jobs and maintaining relevant files relating to shipments to provide a record and review trail.


WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR


  • Minimum 1 year operational experience in NVOCC / Co-Loader is preferable for this position.
  • Preferably specialised in Logistics/Supply Chain or equivalent will be an added advantage.
  • Experience in liasing with Shipping Principals and Agencies will be an added advantage.
  • Result oriented, pro-active and possess a positive work attitude with good customer service.
  • Fluency in both written and verbal communication skills (English).
  • Required Skill(s):
    Microsoft Office (Word / Excel), preferably Microsoft Outlook as well.
  • Salary offer will scale accordingly to your relevant work experience.
