Data Software Solutions Specialist – Financial Services

Our client a global financial markets software provider who focus on data related software services and products are looking for a Data Software Specialist to represent them on their client sites. The Specialist will work on new implementations and enhancements of existing software. The products are data solutions for front, middle and back-office environments within banks, asset managers and hedge funds.

Key Responsibilities:

· Working with the Sales and Pre-Sales teams on customer demonstrations of the data solutions products.

· Conduct business analysis of the requirements from clients, translating these into technical solutions.

· Take care of the design and implementation of the products for the client making sure they configured correctly as per requirements.

· You will leverage your MDM or EDM ( Master Data or Enterprise Data) data software experience with the new implementations and the enhancements.

· You will leverage your software development background and hands-on scripting skills in SQL and/or Python.

· Project Manage the implementations and/or enhancements with the help of the Pre-Sales/Post Sales team and Program Managers.

· Provide training and post implementation support as needed.

Key Experience Needed:

· You will be coming from a software development and/or data solutions background with hands on experience with SQL or Python Scripting and ideally some data modelling, ETL tools experience.

· Your understanding of Master Data Management (MDM) and/or Enterprise Data Management (EDM) will be excellent.

· Any software development experience with JAVA, C#.NET, C++, or any other languages will be a big plus as you will need to be able to understand the code to write some rules via scripts.

· Be able to conduct business analysis activities, taking requirements, building documentation.

· Have experience with configuration and customizing of data software products.

· Financial markets industry experience and some understanding of asset classes is essential.

· Any experience with financial markets data feeds for example, Bloomberg and Refinitiv is preferred.

· You will enjoy working in customer facing role and so will have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
