Dc Shift Engineer

DC shift Engineer (NOC) Responsibilities :
Provide shift work DC operations i.E. Remote Hands Support, Escort, Managing Visits and Deliveries. Supporting &
Manage clients, vendors, and another stakeholder for system fault and incident management. Day to Day DC operations task, incident tickets, troubleshoot, routine maintenance activities and maintain operation documents. Fault troubleshooting and rectification. Manage DC inventories – equipment, testers, consumables, etc. Support Planned Activities such as network / facilities upgrade, new installation. Maintain documentation / records, procedures, and communication. Manage &
Supervise subcontractors and third-party vendors. Handle customers’ requirement such as delivery acceptance, remote hand supports, etc. Handle customers’ order such as provisioning of cages, racks, and cross connects. Monitor and supervise data centre facilities maintenance. Review and improve operational processes. Assist Audit and report submission. Follow Standard Operating procedure and Emergency Operating Procedure Able to perform day and night shift duty. Support preventive maintenance, Ad-hoc, or urgent maintenance. Work directly with the Global Service Operations Center, Global Service Desk, Security, and Facilities Management teams to maintain data center hosting integrity, during provisioning and troubles resolution. Work closely with colocation clients to ensure their remote hand requests are carried out &
met. Work closely with security and facility team to deliver good customer experience and to ensure our SLAs are met. Requirements:
2-4 Years experience working in data centre operations and facility Management. Experience working in a 24x7 on-call environment. Knowledgeable of building facilities Electrical &
Mechanical (HVAC, CCTV,security access, BMS, Fire protection system) DCIM knowledge preferred. Strong understanding of incident, problem and change management procedures. Experienced in supporting Data Centre vendors, out-sourcing vendors. Ability to multi-task and proficient in Microsoft Office applications;
Excel &
PowerPoint Good written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and in a team.
