Demand & Supply Planner (Consumer Electronics Industry)

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain demand forecasting models based on inventory data, market trends, and business input.
  
• Work closely with cross-functional teams and Project Manager to gather sales forecasts and inputs for demand planning.
  
• Analyze demand patterns and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and optimize inventory levels.
  
• Create and maintain demand and supply plans to ensure accurate and timely product availability.
  
• Communicate and coordinate with suppliers to manage supply lead times, order quantities, and delivery schedules.
  
• Monitor and track inventory levels, taking necessary actions to mitigate stock-outs and excess inventory.
  
• Generate reports, purchase orders and provide insights on demand and supply performance to management.
  
• Collaborate with production, purchasing, procurement and logistics teams to align demand and supply plans.
  
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in demand planning processes and systems.
  
• Ad hoc duties as assigned.
  

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or equivalent
  
• At least 3 – 5 years of demand &
  supply planning experience, preferably from consumer electronics industry.
  
• Proficiency in SAP, ERP and Microsoft Office will be an added advantage.
