The Data and Collaboration Platforms Division is responsible for conceptualisation, implementation and management of enterprise-wide data and collaboration solutions. You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for IT Systems within the division.
In this role, the officer is expected to undertake the following areas of work:
Manage stakeholder relationships
Solution business analysis and design
- In conjunction with business, to design and deliver a solution experience that meets the needs of user through human, digital, and physical interactions, over time, across a journey (in conjunction with policy, process, digital enablers).
- Mapping of the service/business/functional requirements to solution/application system/technical requirements and ensure overall design, development and implementation remains consistent with the overall architecture of the project, and its objectives and needs.
Vendor contracting and management
- Manage outsourced vendors and in-housed contractors to meet the delivery and operation needs of IT services.
- Conduct procurement
Governance, Risk and Compliance
- Ensure compliance to ICT Governance policies and standards.
- Ensure risk framework is adhered to and carry out risk management for projects and products.
Project delivery and quality
- Plan and manage IT projects and ensure alignment of project to the business objectives within established scope, cost and schedule.
- Quality:
To assure the quality of systems and applications, including the establishment of quality management technology and systems for applications development and delivery
Operations and maintenance, user support
- Manage and direct the day-to-day operations of IT services.
- Manage change request, service request and production support issues and ensure service levels are met.
- Review postproduction issues and identify root cause and work with vendors on preventive measures.
- Plan, execute and support system implementation, software/hardware upgrades and security patches.
- Measure, monitor and continuously improve performances of IT services
Job Requirements :
- Bachelor Degree with preferably 8-10 years of relevant working experience in project management, business analysis and system operation
- Experience in project management, vendor management, incident management, problem management and release management
- Strong experience in managing business, IT and senior stakeholders.
- Sound understanding of the technical aspects of systems integration in an environment with diverse technologies.
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence to gain consensus from multiple stakeholders when required.
- Familiarity with Government Instruction Manual 8 will be an added advantage.
- Good analytical skills, and able to mulit-task and deliver results in a timely manner.
- Self-driven, creative and team-oriented person with good interpersonal and organizational skills, positive attitude and able to work under pressure.
- Excellent technical troubleshooting skills
- Sound knowledge in coding languages, databases, application architecture, cloud technologies and IT security
