Design Engineer

Job Description

• Assist Design Manager andTechnical Manager on design issues both Temporary and permanent works
  
• Coordinated within the technical team for all aspect of design issues
  
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and civil engineering teams to integrate various systems within the MRT infrastructure.
  
• To liaise with clients’ representatives to ensure correct interpretation of Employer's drawings and specifications and any amendment of the design and construction drawings.
  
• Control and update of all issuance of design and construction drawings.
  
• Clarification of technical issues related to detailed design with clients Technical department.
  
• Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with design specifications and regulatory requirements.
  
• Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and documentation for project stakeholders.
  

Requirements

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
  
• Candidates with minimum 2 years of design experience from concept stage to implementation
  
• Conversant in structural analysis software
  
• Experience in construction or excavation an advantage
  
• Preferably with MRT working experience
