Equities Analyst

· Collaborate with CEO to generate day trade, short-term trading strategies that are appropriate for the market environment and execute trades on a daily basis.

· Manage a profit and loss account, taking ownership of trading performance.

· Stay up to date on industry trends, securities, technologies, and regulatory issues.

· Responsible to collect and sort out stock market information to conduct research and analysis.

· Analyst systemic risk of Hong Kong and US stock market.

· Maintaining the fundamental stock pool, early warning downward trend risk due to fundamental changes.

· Analysing and assessing intraday industry and individual stock news.

· Liaise with investment operations and IT supports to maintain order flow integrity and improve communication.

Requirements

• At least Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  
• 3-5 years of running short-term trading strategies in a hedge fund or proprietary trading environment.
  
• Excellent research and analytical skills to identify investment opportunities.
  
• Good team player with excellent interpersonal skills, and commitment to work in a respectful, team-oriented and multicultural environment.
  
• Have strong communication skills to convey complex financial information and data to investor.
  
• Able to write and speak in English and Chinese to liaise with Chinese associate.
