Events Sales & Planning Executive
job description
- Handle event enquiries and quotations, act as a point of contact for customer
- Understand and manage all customer requirements and communications from planning to execution
- Develop event concept ideas (if applicable), contact suppliers, and develop event costing as part of event planning
- Maintain up-to-date events calendar in WOA facilities (Lounge, Rooftop Terrace, Board Room, Hangar66 Café area, etc.)
- Track planning and setup progress as part of scheduled events’ execution
- Plan event, set up venue and execute all events scheduled within the facility
- Communicate and work with internal and external parties to plan, set up, and execute events
- Execute events and meet customer service levels and expectations for all events and associated KPIs – customer survey,feedback, events planning milestones, events execution timeliness, adherence to events budgets, etc
- Understand every event’s executional challenges ahead of time and highlight potential issues to management
- Resolve problems independently and promptly during event execution;
escalate to management as necessary
- Maintain central event support service supplier listings with latest pricing and assessment of product/service quality, and effective working relationship
- Continually refresh and refine vendor/partner list including identifying new events supporting services vendors, and setting up partnership arrangements with them
- Make recommendations on in-house vs. outsource of events supporting products and services and help improve company's events capabilities and offerings
- Help developing marketing collaterals for sales and marketing purposes
Requirements:
· Diploma or above in Events management, PR, marketing, hospitality management or related field is preferred
· Experience:
2-5 years of related experience in venue set up, working with 3rd party vendors, and events execution
· Proactive, positive, meticulous and able to work independently requiring minimal direction
· Able to work on weekends and night hours when required
· Good team player and enjoy interacting with people
· Experience in Design &
Video Software will be an advantage (e.G. Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Premier, iMovie.Etc)
· Experience in venue sound and light systems will be an advantage
· Possession of a Class 3 driving license will be an advantage
