Purpose of the Role:


Reporting the Manager, you will manage and maintain donor relationships and execute the community partners’ engagement strategy. Your primary role is to facilitate third party fundraising activities, seek new fundraisers and manage the existing charity fundraisers. You will work to grow a strong network of the givers, establishing trust and rapport with our valued partners.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop, plan and execute the strategy and tactics for charity fundraisers
  • Lead and nurture next generation potential ambassadors and facilitate interested ones to sign up as SCS Charity Ambassadors
  • Facilitate and assist in managing third party fundraising events (e.G. preparation of MOU, liaison point between the Society and fundraiser, closure of campaign).
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to students who commit to fundraise for the Society under Citi-YMCA Youth for Causes programme.
  • Support flagships such as Race Against Cancer, Relay for Life, Charity Golf or Charity Gala Dinner.
  • Maintain and ensure that all 3rd Party information is captured, stored and handled in compliance with the persona data protection act (PDPA).
  • Administrative duties include preparation of purchase requisitions via Tenderboard, generate purchasing orders.
  • Ensure that administrative matters including periodic reports, record keeping is accurate and submitted in a timely manner.
  • Facilitate and assist with the collection and distribution of donation boxes
  • Ensure that NETs QR code stickers are properly secured in selected and approved retail outlets and public places.
  • Facilitate and assist with online giving portals.


Qualifications and Experience


  • A degree in marketing or business management
  • At least 2 years of experience in events management and fundraising
  • Knowledge of online platforms and tools for effective marketing
  • Good understanding of the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPC and PDPA)
  • Familiar with the Charities Act and regulations governing IPCs
  • Good understanding of the Fundraising Regulations
  • Copywriting skills with strong command of good English Language
