Field Application Engineer

Objective:

We are looking for a Field Application Engineer to drive new projects and business pipelines for FY23/24 growth.

Responsibilities:

- Responsible for pre &
post sales requirementsof Company’s Power Quality products (preparing technical documents &
commercial proposals)

- Provides technical support to distributors and key account customer for troubleshooting, on-site testing and commissioning

- Provides trainings to distributors and customers to enhance their capabilities

- Responsible for design-in (spec-in) of company’s products with the distributor in the appointed territory and market segments, achieve yearly design-in targets

- Lookout for opportunities to cross out competitor part

- Coordinate PQ Application and On-site Measurement Services in line with the company strategy

- Maintains good relationship with both end-users, local distributors, external test laboratories and build customer loyalty through field visits

- Maintenance of existing customers base and achieve development of new potential customers.

- Effective use of CRM/CAS system to record key activities, including customer visit/call reports and opportunities

- Able to communicate and work well with internal departments.

- Any other responsibilities as assigned by the Strategic Account Manager or/and Sales Manager

Job Requirements:

- Possess fundamental PQ Harmonic knowledge and application.

- Basic knowledge of EMC / EMI compliance is a plus

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics Engineering or other relevant majors

- Prefer minimum 3 years technical experience in the field of industrial products

- Able to operate common test equipment like voltage meter, clamp meter, oscilloscope, analyzer, etc.

- Good interpersonal and communication skills

- Well-versed in basic MS Office tools (eg. Word, Excel) and SAP (preferred)

- Interpersonal savvy

- Good follow up and consultative approach attitude

- Able to work independently and resourceful
