Responsibilities:
* Work closely with Special Olympics stakeholders, analysts, and technical teams to shape and Special Olympics Asia Pacific data strategy and architecture.
* Build and maintain relationships with Special Olympics program/operations staff to help inform and align technical goals with user need.
* Support and guide the implementation of data governance and the management of data quality, reference and master data, and metadata.
* Support and guide the development of data capture solutions and technology, including athlete and volunteer data systems as well as operational business data.
* Model the business architecture across Special Olympics Asia Pacific, including current architectural artifacts, a Business Capability Map and Business Process Models.
* Provide recommendations and input to data governance metrics and report improvements and opportunities.
* Work directly with external contractors to coordinate technology development.



Essential Skills &
Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
* 2 years of experience in data management and data governance.
* 2 years of experience in data architecture, customer solutions architecture, and/or data engineering.
* Strong customer-facing experience translating technical concepts and solutions to non-technical and executive audiences.
* Experience managing and coordinating external contractors and development teams
Desirable Qualifications:

* Experience coding in a general-purpose language, e.G. C++, Python, Java, etc.
* Experience with CRM, lightweight data capture systems, and offline field data capture.
* Experience with Enterprise Architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, etc.
* Experience with Microsoft Azure.
* Ability to lead strategic initiatives.
