Position Overview
We are looking for a Trusted Finance Business Partner to join Autodesk's Worldwide Sales Finance team as the co-pilot who helps steer Autodesk towards an effective and efficient go-to-market outreach. This position reports directly to Finance Director of APAC &
Japan Territory Sales and is the primary business partner to the ASEAN Regional Director and the sales team.
The candidate must demonstrate independence, excellence and integrity in decision making and business judgment. A strong knowledge of information systems, financial planning, accounting, strategic planning, risk assessment and business development is required, preferably in a software company. The right candidate for this role will demonstrate strong collaboration skills, financial aptitude, excellent business intuition, and the capability to work at multiple levels, including high-level strategy and day-to-day financial details.
This Finance Business Partner will have frequent interactions and collaborate with the local sales teams, cross-functional deal teams and finance teams and enable optimal informed business decisions through strong, effective analysis and key business insights.
Responsibilities

  • Partnering directly with ASEAN Regional Director as a member of line management staff
  • Managing Annual Business planning process, allocating the targets, and creating quotas for the ASEAN territory sales Reps
  • Driving Weekly forecast process for ASEAN territory sales team across all segments
  • Analyzing business performance and trends to proactively provide business insights and advice to sales leaders
  • Co-leading with regional Director to drive Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and Quarterly Business Planning (QBPs), focusing on key business performance metrics and improvement plans
  • Providing deal support in partnership with Deal Operations to develop agreements and agreement proposals
  • Assisting process improvement for ASEAN team's pipeline management through salesforce.Com
  • Leading the cross-functional teams to close fiscal quarters
  • Managing the OPEX budget (headcount and variable) for the ASEAN territory sales team
  • Build relationships with broader groups such as Legal, Client services, Revenue Accounting, Tax, etc. to support the Sales Teams
  • Playing the key role for compliance and fiduciary


Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor in Accounting or Finance preferred;
    MBA or CPA a plus
  • Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience with finance or business analysis background
  • Prior experience in a technology/software/SaaS company is a plus
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and PowerBI skill as a plus
  • Hands on experience with financial software (e.G. Business Objects, QlikView, SAP, etc)
  • Articulate and concise with strong communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to a complex and changing environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage tight deadlines
  • Ambitious and ability to learn quickly
  • Strong team player and leadership potential
