Key Responsibilities


  • Ensures ambitious, aligned &
    effective Annual Plans and Forecasts as well as optimizes business insights through balanced risks and opportunities for Specialty, Oncology and Pipeline launches
  • This role also partners and builds strong commercial business cases with Operational and Strategy head of GCI and TA leads
  • The scope includes leading alignment between Regions and GPS and providing insights on LRF, inputs for Global DRM and CCC and month end performance reviews(SPOC from region)
  • Provides business insights (monthly consensus forecast vs latest financial forecasts / supply risks and opportunities) for the monthly Regional S&
    OP
  • Leads all financial aspects and support negotiation of business development activities within the Region
  • Provides finance support to the Alliance partner Director in the Region to ensure the contracts and financial governance across the Region is adhered to
  • Supports monthly performance reviews including KPIs like, market share, stock levels to influence effective decision making in the business, including adapting priorities and identifying actions to close the gaps.
  • Builds Scenario and what if analysis for key projects and big wins critical for the Region
  • Works with TA leads on Launch readiness and tracker roll out with evaluation of adequate and timely investment support in the Region.
  • Benchmarking investments for TAs responsible externally, intra region and inter region.
  • Regular reviews of Brand pnls for Oncology and pipelines assets.
  • Project leads for Regional Finance initiatives on change management and communications.


Why you?


Basic Qualifications:


  • Degree in Economics, Business or Financial qualification
  • Demonstrated advanced financial knowledge of accounting, model analysis, evaluation, forecasting and strategic planning.
  • Extensive evidence of working within a complex non-finance matrix team


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Internationally recognized MBA or Finance qualification or through strong senior level experience.
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and lead discussions with Senior Leaders.
  • Effective options analysis, scenario planning and decision making.
  • Good knowledge of GSK Finance standards, systems, and processes.
  • Finance experience related to Core Commercial Cycle, Manufacturing and Commercial preferred.
