Fpso Engineering Manager

Role:

This role applies project knowledge, engineering knowledge and experience to independently manage the engineering and design of both Topside and Marine facilities of FPSO project. Focus on resolving interface issues across different engineering disciplines, and support the fabrication, installation, commissioning and start up of facilities and equipment with the topside modules, Hull and Marine facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Overall engineering leader for FPSO team
  
• Independently manager the engineering and design of both Topside and Marine facilities of FPSO project
  
• Lead the topside and marine engineering team to ensure consistency of engineering design across all disciplines working on the project
  
• Supervise implementation of engineering change managment post design freeze
  
• Ensure delivery of engineering design, complies with Class Society rules, codes and standards
  
• Conduct internal engineering team meeting, lead meeting with client and other external agencies, prepare minutes of meetings, progress report
  
• Manage Topside and Marine Engineering manning plan, engineering software budget, third party study cost and engineering related variation orders
  
• Lead in developing solution to complex problems
  
• Contribute to company's continuous improvement and development
  

Requirment:

• Degree in Engineering with minimum 25 years of experience, or
  
• Master Degree in Engineering with minimum 23 years of experience
  
• Experience as FPSO Engineering Manager for at least 1 FPSO
  
• Solid knowledge of all interfaces between Topside and Marine Engineering, facilities/system of FPSO and working of all Process, Mechanical, Piping, Structure, Electrical &
  Telecom, Instrumentation and Marine engineering
  
• Knowledge of design codes and regulatory requirement of EPCI project
  
• Familiar with use of software, database systems related to Engineering functions
  
• Understand and interpret total project life cycle cost and benefits as well as their implications during FEED and EPCI phases of project
