JOB DESCRIPTION
Businesses that partner with Google come in all shapes, sizes and market caps, and no one Google advertising solution works for all. Your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities shapes how new and existing businesses grow. Using your relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.
ADDITIONAL JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Head in App Developer Sales, you will work with the next generation of mobile-first businesses, lead a local team to exceed sales goals, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to accelerate Google's position in the fast-growing and strategic business of app promotion. In this role, you will lead a team responsible for app market growth, set strategic priorities, take an analytical approach to sales management, and coach your team members. You will also partner with internal/external stakeholders across the functions like Google Customer Solutions (GCS), Large Customer Sales (LCS), Product and Sales Activation (PSA), Google Play, other Google teams as well as third-parties.
Qualifications
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Set priorities for the team to engage clients in Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand to deliver against assigned quota and strategic objectives.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams internally to prospect and develop App Developer business.
  • Work with the Global Apps Solutions Specialists, Product management, Engineering teams to define key opportunities across Google's suite of app install products.
  • Collaborate with strategy and ops stakeholders to ensure alignment and assess go-to-market needs in the region.
  • Analyze data trends and client performance, develop solid strategic sales plans, and prepare and conduct strategic pitches and sales presentations. Serve as an evangelist at targeted events and conferences.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of sales experience in advertising, marketing, consulting, media, business development, or advertising agencies.
  • Experience leading a Sales team or developing sales professionals.
  • Experience building a book of business.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Track record of effective sales/operations management and strategic planning.
  • Experience leading teams across different product areas.
  • Experience building strong relationships with senior, cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience leading large highly motivated sales team to sustain the entrepreneurial culture.
  • Experience in driving effective sales, operations management and strategic planning.
