Head Of Controlling & Business Planning Sea

Objectives of the Position

• Financial Controller and sub-regional Supply Planner for our Agricultural Solutions Asia Pacific South East Asia (SEA) sub-region.
  
• Act as advisor, challenger and business partner to the business unit Business Area Director (BAD), Local Business Managers (LBM) and the local management teams in all matters of financial relevance and daily business steering.
  
• Leader for the Agricultural Solutions Controlling and Business Planning team in SEA, consisting of Country Controllers and Operational Business / Supply Planners.
  
• Drive, initiate and/or participate in sub-regional projects &
  initiatives to overall advance the sub-region.
  

Main Tasks

1. Monthly Financial Forecasting and Business AnalysisReview and finalization of sales forecast
   Analyze business with respect to sales and key performance indicators
   Proactively suggest/recommend actions helping management to take decisions to steer the business as per strategic goals
   
   
2. Budgeting &
   Strategic PlanningDrive and coordinate the sub-regional budget and operational planning process
   Ensure compliance of regional/global guidance with respect to budgeting key elements
   
   
3. Pricing &
   Rebate ManagementSupport Country Management in steering rebate schemes and act as partner to sales &
   marketing functions to drive decisions
   Challenge countries on pricing and rebate implementation to drive achieving Market Performance
   Support SEA commercial excellence in implementing effective commercial policies in all countries
   
   
4. Risk ManagementEnsure overall compliance of the sub-region with corporate policies and objectives
   Enable robust business processes from compliance perspective
   
   
5. Financial Business SupportMonitor and drive monthly communication (via telecon) across organization on strategic KPIs
   Support value-based decision making throughout the organization targeting sustainable optimization of absolute Market Performance
   
   
6. Project SupportKey support for Regional and Global projects via coordinating with key stakeholders in BU and Functions for proper alignment and implementation
   Oversee implementation of local country controlling projects
   
   
7. Supply chain supportRegular supervise BU supply and demand reconciliations for effective implementation in sub-region
   Active steering of supply issues to ensure optimum business outcomes
   Non-Conformance Management (NCM) Management &
   Reporting
   
   
8. Team leadershipOperational;
   Functional manager for country business planners
   Develop team capabilities
   Drive priorities such as people development, talent management, Diversity &
   Inclusion (D&
   I)
   
   

Requirements

• Minimum degree in Finance / Accounting / Business
  
• Chartered accountant certification is an added advantage
  
• At least 8 years of professional experience in the area of Controlling or Supply Chain
  
• Advanced finance and accounting knowledge and experience, proficiency in interpretation and analysis of financial reports
  
• Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving skills
  
• Proficient with MS Office applications, dashboarding
