The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google's Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google's own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google's user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

Devices (P&
D) Partnerships Strategy &
Operations team createsand drives cohesive business strategy across the suite of P&
D products:
Android, Play, Chrome, ChromeOS, G1/Photos, Workspace, Auto, Home, IoT, Enterprise, Starline, Privacy Sandbox and more. We deeply understand the partner ecosystem and markets in which these products operate, and apply structured analysis and reasoning to help shape and execute strategy. We also drive thought leadership across our products and markets to inform strategic decisions across the P&
D and broader Global Partnerships (GP) leadership teams. We also partner closely across key stakeholders in Business Development, ProdEng, Marketing, Finance, and the broader GP Go-To-Market organizations to drive scaled impact for our business and product partners.
In this role, you will manage and coach a team that works closely with the P&
D Partnerships team in APAC, to enable regional success across the many products supported (including Android, Play, G1, and TV);
acting as the principalthought partner to the VP of APAC P&
D Partnerships, working closely with the VP to design and execute a cohesive strategy for the team enabling growth in the region.
You will also help shape the new operating model for P&
D partnerships, designing and executing strategies to ensure that the team is aligned with global partnerships strategy, while also representing the voice of the region.
Qualifications
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as a thought partner to the APAC P&
    D VP to define Google's regional partnership, and overall business strategy to build, distribute, and enable P&
    D products with partners(e.G., carriers, retailers, OEMs) in order to grow the Android ecosystem.
  • Lead the Strategy &
    Operations team to shape and execute strategies to drive growth across P&
    D's product portfolio byaligning closely with Partnerships team, product, regional leads, and other cross-functional teams to bring the best of Google to our partners.
  • Partner closely with Global, AMER and EMEA regional leads to enable a consistent P&
    D partnership and GTM strategy globally.
  • Lead a a newly-created team distributed across APAC to execute against team goals. Manage and coach through organizational change.
  • Land and implement new regional P&
    D BD operating models.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity or corporate advisory experience or 8 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • 5 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience partnering with senior (MD / VP) level stakeholders.
  • Experience managing people or teams.
  • Deep understanding of product and/or distribution partnerships.
  • Experience structuring strategy for business organizations, including experience in either management consulting or within internal strategy teams.
  • Familiarity with key products/business including Android, Play, Chrome, Messages, Workspace etc.
  • Experience working in a highly matrixed and cross-functional organization.
