Head Of Trading Manager / General Manage

JOB DESCRIPTION
Our company is looking for Non-ferrous Metals traders, Minerals traders and Agricultural Commodities Traders. We are an overseas subsidiary of a Chinese company.

As a Head Trading Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all trading activities within an organization. Your primary goal will be to maximize profitability and ensure the efficient execution of trading strategies. You will lead a team of traders and work closely with various stakeholders to achieve business objectives.

1. Develop and implement trading strategies:
   Create and execute trading strategies to achieve business goals and optimize profitability. Stay updated with market trends, economic indicators, and financial news to inform trading decisions.
   
2. Team management:
   Lead a team of traders, providing guidance, coaching, and support. Set performance goals, monitor individual and team performance, and provide regular feedback. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the trading department.
   
3. Risk management:
   identify and assess potential risks associated with trading activities. Implement risk management strategies to mitigate exposure and protect the organization's interests. Monitor market conditions and adjust trading strategies accordingly.
   
4. Financial analysis and reporting:
   Analyze trading data, including profit and loss statements, trade volumes, and market trends. Prepare regular reports on trading performance and present the findings to senior management. Provide insights and recommendations for improving trading results.
   
5. Relationship management:
   Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including brokers, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies. Collaborate with other departments, such as finance, operations, and compliance, to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of trading activities.
   
6. Compliance and regulatory adherence:
   Stay updated with relevant financial regulations, trading rules, and compliance requirements. Ensure trading activities comply with applicable laws and regulations. Develop and enforce internal trading policies and procedures.
   
7. Technology and systems:
   Evaluate and implement trading technologies, platforms, and tools to enhance trading efficiency and effectiveness. Stay abreast of technological advancements in trading and leverage them to gain a competitive edge.
   
8. Market research and strategy development:
   Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and trend forecasting to identify new trading opportunities. Collaborate with research teams to develop innovative trading strategies and capitalize on emerging market trends.
   
9. Work-related weekly and monthly reports to the headquarters.
   

Requirements:

1. Education:
   Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.G., CFA, FRM) are highly desirable.
   
2. Experience:
   Proven experience in trading, preferably in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of financial markets, trading instruments, and risk management Experience in managing a team of traders and driving trading strategies
   
3. Analytical skills:
   Proficiency in quantitative analysis, financial modelling, and data interpretation. Ability to make data-driven decisions and identify trading opportunities based on market analysis.
   
4. Leadership abilities:
   Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
   
5. Risk management:
   Demonstrated expertise in risk assessment and management in a trading environment. Ability to identify potential risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
   
6. Compliance knowledge:
   In-depth understanding of financial regulations, trading rules, and compliance requirements. Familiarity with regulatory bodies and reporting obligations.
   
7. Technology proficiency:
   Familiarity with trading platforms, algorithms, and order management systems. Ability to leverage technology to improve trading processes and outcomes.
   
8. Adaptability and resilience:
   Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic trading environment Strong decision-making skills;
   and the ability to handle pressure and make timely judgments.
   
9. Conversant with Chinese and English.
