ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an Intern, IT Operations to help with the day-to-day IT support and the management of the life cycle of the laboratory computer system.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide day to day IT support to the users, by attending to users’ IT issues and requests in the IT helpdesk ticketing system
  
• Help with the onboarding and offboarding of employees
  
• Assist with the life cycle management of the computer use in the laboratory, ensure the computers are accounted for, with the appropriate updated software, control and protection
  
• Build laptop according to the company stanard
  
• Upkeep of IT assets, assist with technology refresh and disposal
  
• Update of documentation and procedures
  
• Any other tasks as assigned
  

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS &
SKILLS

• Currently in a Nitec / Higher Nitec Computing course or related field
  
• Basic knowledge in the Windows operating software
  
• Comfortable in handling computer hardware
  
• Comfortable with Ms Office software
  

DESIREABLE QUALIFICATIONS &
SKILLS

• Good communication and interpersonal skills
  
• Independent and resourceful
