IP Architect

Job Responsibilities

• Designing and defining the architecture of DDR IPs, including understanding specifications, performance requirements, and interfacing with other system components.
  
• Leading or participating in the development of DDR IP cores, ensuring they meet performance, power, and area requirements while adhering to industry standards.
  
• Optimizing DDR IP designs for speed, power efficiency, and reliability, often through simulation, verification, and implementation phases.
  
• Collaborating with system designers and other IP teams to integrate DDR IPs into larger SoCs (System-on-Chip), ensuring compatibility and performance goals are met.
  
• Ensuring DDR IP designs comply with industry standards and specifications, such as JEDEC standards, and keeping up-to-date with the latest DDR technology advancements.
  
• Creating technical documentation, guidelines, and providing support to internal teams and customers regarding DDR IP integration, usage, and troubleshooting.
  
• Staying abreast of emerging DDR technologies, conducting research to improve IP architectures, and proposing innovations to enhance product offerings.
  

Job Requirements

• Minimum Degree in Electrical/ Electronics enginering or its equivalent with around 10 years of experience in IP design and successful tape-out.
  
• Experience in designing and architecting DDR IP cores or related memory interface IPs, in the semiconductor industry.
  
• In-depth knowledge of DDR memory standards and their protocols, including PHY, controller, and memory subsystem architecture.
  
• Experience in integrating DDR IPs into larger SoC designs, understanding system-level implications and requirements.
  
• Familiar with the respective interface and competitive landscape and has rich experience in product road mapping and product definition.
  
• Have good communication skills, high sense of responsibility, strong sense of delivery, and excellent team spirit.
