It Executive

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled IT Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing timely and effective helpdesk support, overseeing daily IT operations, managing server maintenance, and ensuring the smooth administration of all IT services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide timely and effective helpdesk support to resolve technical issues and assist end-users.
  
• Oversee the daily operation of IT services, including procuring, installing, and maintaining office IT hardware and equipment, and setting up new computer equipment.
  
• Administer and maintain all servers and network infrastructure.
  
• Perform server maintenance tasks regularly.
  
• Manage IT services and oversee contract renewal and software licenses, including sourcing and purchasing IT equipment as per approval requests.
  
• Maintain an accurate asset management inventory and assist in company’s audits.
  
• Manage all IT aspects of employee onboarding/ offboarding, including work account creation/deactivation (Email, shared folders, VPN, etc.) and preparation of IT equipment.
  
• Assist in developing and implementing IT policies, processes, and best practices to safeguard data integrity and governance.
  
• Maintain and update IT records and documentation filing.
  
• Provide user training for technology usage.
  
• Conduct periodic checks on network, data security, and Wi-Fi equipment.
  
• Identify and act on new initiatives to improve and update software and systems to support the company’s current and future business strategies.
  
  

Requirements:

• Diploma or equivalent in IT or Computer Sciences.
  
• Min 3 years of relevant experience.
  
• Experience with and good working knowledge of Linux, Windows-Based Server administration, including installation and configuration of Windows Desktop OSs, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, FTP, and Firewall.
  
• Knowledge in TCP/IP Networking, network routing, redundancy principles, and practices in a multilayer network.
  
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, communication (written and verbal), and organizational skills with good problem-solving abilities.
